From 12 September 2023 to June 2024, ASFINAG is renewing five tunnels on the Tauern motorway (A10) between Golling and Werfen and upgrading the safety equipment to the latest state of the art. The work may cause delays and traffic jams in tourist traffic. But because we believe that holidays and relaxation should start at the front door and continue while you're on the road, we have an idea for you: How about "looking at mountains instead of traffic jams in tunnels"! With easy-going curve cruising instead of slow-moving construction site traffic? With wonderful views instead of gloomy tunnels?
