The well-constructed Gerlos Alpine Road winds to the top with a maximum gradient of only nine percent through eight bends.At a maximum height of 1,630 metres, and a length of 12 kilometres, the Gerlos Alpine Road is a panorama road that offers riders and drivers enchanting views: at one point the Salzach Valley is seen, then again the Zill Valley Alps.
